Growing up in the greater Boston area, Phillip Gerard was immersed in the city’s legendary rock scene. Performing in clubs and bars well before he was old enough to drink in them, he quickly established himself as a dynamic musician and songwriter.
His early years were spent writing and collaborating with local artists, including bands with his talented brothers. He was part of an early iteration of The Dream, which later evolved into Extreme, having sung in the choir alongside their eventual frontman. Beyond rock, Phillip explored progressive and jazz-rock, pushing musical boundaries throughout the Boston circuit.
Eager to expand his horizons, he moved to Los Angeles, where he embraced diverse genres—joining heavy metal and hair bands while also diving into classic country and western projects. Returning to New England, he found new inspiration in the blues, deeply influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan—his rendition of Pride and Joy remains a personal favorite. Reuniting with longtime collaborators, he became a staple in the local club scene, performing with multiple projects.
Parallel to his music career, Phillip built a successful path in business and finance, becoming an executive in sales, marketing, and operations. As an equity partner in multiple companies, he played a key role in growing and selling businesses, mastering skills in leadership, talent development, marketing, and contract negotiations. These experiences now fuel his work in artist development, helping musicians navigate the business side of their careers.
His musical and professional journey has taken him across four continents, performing in diverse settings and genres. More recently, he toured with a high-energy cover project, playing in major music hubs like San Francisco, New York, and Nashville.
Now based in Charleston, SC, Phillip remains an active force in the music scene—writing, composing, and mentoring the next generation of artists. With a passion for music, storytelling, and artist development, he continues to bridge the gap between creativity and business, helping musicians find their sound and their stage.

Jamie Dyer is an American drummer, producer, and mix engineer from Knoxville, Tennessee. His musical journey began at just eight years old, playing drums alongside his mother in his father’s church. As his father’s ministry transitioned to missionary work overseas, Jamie found himself performing for larger audiences, further shaping his passion for music.
In high school, Jamie co-founded the Christian rock band Azariah, expanding his musical influences and live performance experience. After graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he continued honing his craft, playing with multiple bands across a variety of genres. Over the years, he became a driving force behind several notable projects, including:
His diverse musical career eventually led him to discover a deep love for studio production and recording.
After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Jamie shifted his focus to the technical side of music and enrolled in Full Sail University’s Music Production program. There, he collaborated on various projects, including film compositions, video game soundtracks, and album productions. Graduating as Valedictorian, he soon opened his own recording studio, Spektra Soundlab Studio.
His first major project as a producer was a demo for Cay Aliese, who later became an American Idol contestant and Nashville recording artist. As his reputation grew, Jamie worked with artists across different genres, refining his skills in mixing, mastering, and live production.
When the COVID-19 pandemic forced many businesses to close, Jamie adapted by joining Sweetwater Sound, where he designed hundreds of live and studio recording systems. His expertise ranged from setups for beginner musicians to large-scale projects, including systems for Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and the Oak Ridge Boys.
Determined to return to hands-on music production, Jamie reopened Spektra Soundlab Studio in Charleston, SC, and teamed up with longtime friend and guitarist Philip Gerrard to launch Phyer Productions.
Currently, Jamie is working with rising country artist Tanner Beane, producing his debut album and performing as his live drummer.
“My musical dream is simple—I just want to help others achieve their own musical goals. Whether it’s recording a song for a loved one, producing a full album, designing a live show, or backing an artist on stage, this is what it’s all about for me.
